Voice Dudu / Guide

How to evaluate a conversational voice demo

An expressive recording can introduce a research direction. It cannot by itself tell you how reliably a system works across different rooms, speakers and tasks.

Listen for the conversation

Notice interruptions, acknowledgements and requests for clarification. Ask whether the reply follows the meaning of the exchange, rather than simply matching the speaker’s mood.

Check availability separately

A recording, a waitlist, an API and downloadable weights are different things. Confirm what is actually offered, the terms attached and the hardware required.

Record the difficult cases

If you receive authorized access, try representative tasks and write down failures. Test noisy environments, accents and changes of topic. Evaluate intelligibility and completion alongside response time.
